Relics of Nature has during the last few days enjoyed life the fantastic Arctic Congress in beautiful (and sunny!) Bodø. We have learned from and discussed with colleagues from different disciplines and parts of the world who gather here around issues related to Arctic futures, including everything from health care, industrial fishing and education to climate change and uncertain futures.

Relics of Nature organised a session around the phenomenon of ice and different conceptions of “icy heritage” in a melting world. We would like to thank our colleagues who contributed to the session, shared their work and discussed ideas with us. We have so much to take home with us – thank you!
